Guernsey Police will not be confirming the identity of the 19-year-old man who sadly died in a road traffic collision on the evening of Tuesday 20th April 2021. This decision follows a request from the family, and the police's desire to respect their wishes during this very difficult time.
An inquest will be opened in due course.
The family have also asked us to express their sincere thanks to the community for the many messages of support they have received. The family would also like to thank the first responders and staff at the hospital.
Enquiries relating to the collision are ongoing, and officers would like to hear from anyone who has any information regarding the incident. In particular, Police would appeal for any motorists who may have been in the area at the time or shortly after the collision to come forward.
