Guernsey Border Agency
The Guernsey Border Agency (GBA) is one of the organisations which forms Bailiwick of Guernsey Law Enforcement - a collective comprising the Guernsey Police Force, Trading Standards and the GBA. The GBA brings together the various work previously carried out by the Customs and Excise, Immigration and Nationality Service with additional responsibilities for assigned cross border crime.
The Borders Division of the GBA has a wide remit, ranging from the collection of customs duties, to Immigration Control, to uniformed border control and investigations into Cross Border crime such as drug trafficking and people smuggling. Within the division are a number of highly specialised roles that all help to protect the community from harm, protect the Border and protect the island's inclusion in the Common Travel Area:
GBA staff also work as part of the Economic Crime Division which focuses on investigating financial crime and the collation of financial intelligence.
If you wish to make a complaint about the GBA, please download the GBA Complaints form from the downloads section for more information about how to do this.
