The Guernsey Police website has been designed so that users can navigate to certain pages through the use of the keyboard short cuts otherwise known as access keys.
Access keys work slightly differently depending upon the browser and operating system you are using.
Below is the list of ten assigned access keys and what page that access key will open.

Access keys work slightly differently depending on the computer and browser you are using. Listed below is a description of how to use access keys on the more popular browser. If you are using a browser that is not listed below and you required help please or would like us to add it to our list please contact us.
For Internet Explorer (IE)
For IE 5 and 6 press control (CTRL) plus the access key number
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4, press 'alt' and the relevant shortcut key (eg 1 for the home page) at the same time.
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, press 'alt' and the relevant shortcut key and then press the enter key.
If you are using Netscape 6, click anywhere on the page, then press 'alt' and the relevant shortcut key at the same time.
IE its CTRL + the access key followed by a return. For Netscape and Mozilla, its just CTRL + access key. Opera is shift + Esc + the access key. Safari does not support access keys.
