The Financial Intelligence Service (FIS) is a joint Police and Customs & Immigration unit that is tasked with receiving and analysing suspicious transaction reports from financial services businesses within the Bailiwick. These disclosures are made in accordance with the anti money laundering legislation governing the island and the information provided is used to further investigations into crimes such as fraud, drug trafficking and the financing of terrorism.
